Thai fighters Wanheng Menayothin and Srisaket Sor Rungvisai shared the WBC Asian Boxing Council's boxer of the year award for 2018. They were honoured at the annual WBC Asian Boxing Council awards event in Bangkok recently. The event was presided over by Pol Gen Kovid Bhakdibhumi, president of the WBC Asian Boxing Council, also known as WBC Asia. Kovid is also a vice-president of the World Boxing Council.
